For SP Group’s first Digital Annual Report initiative, we played with the idea of power and sustainability. The cover artwork features a boy holding onto an eco-friendly light bulb that was shaped like a treehouse. The boy, representing ‘future’, held the eco-friendly energy source in his hand, showing SP Group’s mission to bring sustainable technology to the public.

For its overarching theme, we proposed ‘light bulb’ as concept, as it represents both idea and energy, and used light bulb as a recurring element in the Annual Report.

The digital annual report itself was designed to resemble book in landscape format, giving the Digital Annual Report an immersive feel, especially when interacted with on tablet. For inside pages, we focused on being highly visual, placing relevant images to go with each section, as well as finding ways to present figures in engaging and interactive ways.
